Recruited by the Twigg-Smith family to develop a new property and collaborate with the design team for a 300-acre country estate resort.
Worked closely with the New York design team of JWA and thoroughly enjoyed access to a remarkable collection of contemporary art for Twin Farms.
Directed a Sales and Marketing plan along with the engagement of a New York-based PR and Reservation Office.
Achieved the highest trade ratings in record time, including Mobil Five Star, Zagat# 1 and Andrew Harpers Hideaway Report Grand Award.
Full responsibility for hotel development: the creation and implementation of a guest concept, physical plant, operating systems recruitment/training, and financial administration to produce a guest experience of gracious unpretentious hospitality.
Twin Farms is comprised of 20 individual cottages, multiple common rooms, dining rooms, wine cellar, fitness center, spa, organic gardens, ski trails, hiking, biking, and lakes.
After 10 years of stewardship Twin Farms produced enviable trade statistics at 80% annual occupancy and 70% repeat clientele.
